Stop Press: Latest Developments on the MX-Ray front

This page is intended to keep visitors updated on the fact and fiction, news, buzz and rumors regarding the MX-Ray.

Resurrecting the MX-Ray in 2007?

One of the visitors to this site alerted me to the possibility of a boat-builder willing to restart production of the MX-Ray or something very similar to it, with some additional changes to tweak the hull shape and other aspects of the design. I am glad to say that I have recently been in contact with this builder but am going to refrain from posting any details until I know he is comfortable with my providing such information here. (posted June 15, 2006 in Tokyo)

BTW: I may add a blog to this site as news on this front begin to solidify to keep visitors up to date in a more timely fashion. (PEF)

THIS IS INSANE!!

Whoa! This CANNOT be real, but it is. Those International Moth guys have taken the craziness factor up a whole order of magnitude - hydrofoils!!! Look at the video on the links page, and you can see there is a lot of wetness to go when the foils fail to cooperate. But huge!! Just unbelievable.

Just go to the KA Sailing website (http://www.kasail.com/sailing/index.html) and have a look at what only Aussies and Russians could come up with - radical single-handed seacraft. I am in love to be honest.

These guys at KA Sailing will be talking to the ISAF as Vlad and Julian once did, around 1997. Good luck. Let's see what the Laser sailors say!!!
